Happyness on tonights show!

I recently attended The Juno’s in Canada and talked about attending the awards and my experiences in Ottawa on BBC Radio Lancashire right HERE from 44 minutes in.

A project I’ve been working on for a few months came to fruition as a special BBC Introducing music event took place in Lancashire which saw me co-present a music industry special for our artists which was so informative and helpful. A panel of five music industry specialists share their knowledge with us and you can listen in HERE for four more days.

It’s been a busy week but i’m looking forward to another fun bank holiday weekend checking out new bands and artists at Sounds From The Other City Festival. Three years ago was the last time I heard new music from The Fruit Tones, three LONG years! Fortunately they are back with a new EP! It’s called  Ripe and Ready, and is due for release on the 17th March via Greenway Records/Fuzzkill Records.

Little Cub on the show

A couple of weeks ago there was definite vibes emanating from the Deaf Institute in Manchester!! Boxed In’s harmonies  warming up backstage, the crowd anticipation and Little Cub taking to the stage. What a night! Little Cub are riding high in the Amazing Chart, they’ve just announced their debut album and an album launch gig at the Lexington too. So I would have been daft not to catch up with them!
