On this weeks show my ROTW is ‘Brothers and sisters of the eternal son’ by the wonderful Damien Juradoi’ll be playing three gorgeous songs from the album on the show and waxing lyrically about how much I adore his music no doubt..

I’ll also have that new feature to share with you the #shellshock a song that simply stopped me in my tracks when i first heard it, a kind of track of the week if you will. It was a tough call this week but a slice of psych and retro beauty brings us Cocoanut Groove..

There will be the usual accompaniment of new and emerging music as I spin some of the best new Alt releases from Northern American, Coves, Quilt, Micky P Kerr, Of Montreal, Orchestra Of Spheres, Painted Palms, Blank Realm and more. Love music? Don’t miss it..

08/02/14 Amazing Radio 1 – 3pm

I managed to finally catch up with Outfit In Sheffield recently, approximately two years since we last chatted! On that day only Two Islands was out there in the musical arena and released by the then newbie Double Denim Records. Now there is a full length album ‘Performance’ which was one of my favourite listens of 2013 along with their previously released EP. They join me to talk Liverpool, recording in a bizarre building, finally getting the full length out there and fledgling work on Album No 2..

Chris Bye from the Arts Council & Fresh On The Net is tipping this week and on the bandstand, the lovely Liam Frost..

With the the usual assortment of brand new emerging artists as always, a must listen!

With north west music from Oceaán, Jesca Hoop, Bipolar Sunshine, Etches,  Bird,  Findlay &  Louis Barabbas & The Bedlam Six too..

Saturdays 1-3pm on Amazing Radio on DAB in Dublin, London and the south east, online at http://www.amazingradio.com or via our free iphone / android app too!
