Io Echo, Smoke Fairies and more on this weeks show..

01/03/13 Amazing Radio 1-3pm

Pinch, punch, first of the month! It’s March and what better way to get the month moving in style but that listening to some cutting edge sounds on the home of new and emerging music: Amazing Radio!

I’ll be in conversation with Io Echo on todays show, where Leo is psyched to introduce Io (his American family) to one of the great english cities. In addition, we talk collaborating with Jonny from The Drums and working on a full length as well as their latest EP..

Smoke Fairies were very generous with their musical tips when I caught up with them recently but I managed to narrow it down to just one band. A band with a bassoonist, extra cool points for you Smoke Fairies! I’ll be playing the bassoon loving band on the show today for sure..

As always you can expect some fresh north west sounds from the likes of Bernard & Edith, Dan Croll and more.. This weeks tipster is John Freeman from The Quietus and The Line Of Best Fit, and he’ll be tipping a new artist from the latters record label. It’s poptastic!

I’ll also be cocooning your ears with a few bands that have made a big impression on my senses this week. Want to know who? tune in for details…;)

With a stack of class new music as always, there is no better place to rest your ears every friday between 1-3pm and every wednesday between 8 and 10pm

Fridays 1-3pm and Wednesdays 8-10pm on Amazing Radio on http://www.amazingradio.co.uk or via iphone / android app
