Simian Ghost, Fantasy Rainbow and NEWS!

It doesn’t seem like a week passes at the moment without yet more news and this week is certainly no exception. I’m happy (and sad all at the same time) to say from next week I will no longer be on Bolton FM, I’m joining a brand new Manchester based station called Beatwolf Radio alongside other well know presenters such as Mike Joyce, Dave Haslam, Jo Good and Phil Beckett. I’ll be on air twice a week live, Tuesday 6-8pm and Friday 6-8pm where I’ll be bringing you more of the best new music and interviews every week. More details to come, but it will all be found on or via or @beatwolfradio on twitter.

I’m sad to leave a Radio Station that have been almost like a family to me with their support and never ending enthusiasm but I intend to stay involved with the station as Community Radio remains close to my heart and has given me the opportunity to progress into a level of professional paid radio that I could only have dreamed of three years ago.

My national radio show on Amazing Radio will continue to air at 1-3pm every Friday afternoon and the feedback and listener figures have been exceptionally strong so far. I’m excited to say that Amazing Radio will soon be included in the national RAJAR figures and that the station continues to go from strength to strength. I’m proud to be a part of such an awe inspiring team.

Friday 20/04/12

Coming up on the show on friday brand new music from north west based artists Temple Songs, Daniel Land & The Modern Painters, Jesca Hoop and more.

Fantasy Rainbow is on the bandstand this week, all 19 years of him and you can hear two of the bands he’s loving at the moment on the show.

This weeks North West tipster is Ben Blackburn, probably best known for his blogging on Crack In The Road, he’ll be bringing you a tip from an artist who’s been recently announced as playing Amazing Radio’s Great Escape show.

Our United States Of Music road trip takes us to the Rocky Mountains of Idaho where we trade in the cadillac for a four wheel drive and wind down the windows to breathe in the magic of an extreme talent in Boise..

Ps Did I mention SIMIAN GHOST?
